Come join us for a two-day study called “The Destiny of Israel, the Church and the Jews” with Prof. Jeffrey Seif. This class will take place after Shabbat service on November 5 and carry over through Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2022. Sign up on the IAMCS Yeshiva Site

In this mini-class, Jeffrey Seif will consider “destiny” and examine Israel and the Jews in light of it.

Scripture can be compared to a Broadway play, one containing two acts that are separated by an intermission. Our Jewish people and friends, know Act 1, the Old Testament, and understand there to be destiny associated with the Hebrew people who are associated with it—but they do not see the New Testament story. Our Christian associates and friends, know Act 2, the New Testament, and understand there to be destiny associated with Yeshua-believing people who are associated with it—but they tend to not see the Old Testament story.

In the yeshiva at Beth Messiah, Jeffrey Seif will explore both entities’ respective destinies and consider their respective roles in light of those destinies. The yeshiva will be inter-active. Individuals will have ample opportunities to interact with the instructor and each other, with pride of place given to dialogue not just monologue.

Dr Seif has served over thirty years as a college professor. He retired as University Distinguished Professor of Bible and Jewish Studies – The Kings University where he serves as an adjunct professor still. He also is an adjunct professor at Christ for the Nations Institute. Prof Seif works for Dallas College where he oversees their police academies.
