Day 13

I will give you treasures of darkness and hidden riches of secret places, so you may know that I am Adonai, the God of Israel, who calls you by your name. - Isa 45:3

Heart Thoughts

I’ve learned that in a split second the God of Israel can surprise you with blessings unknown before. King Cyrus, to whom this passage is addressed, did not see the blessing he had in his kingdom. He had a people, not just any people but the people of Israel. God had made Cyrus great and a blessing so he could be a blessing to Israel (Isa 45:4-5). And, in blessing Israel he would receive treasures of darkness and hidden riches.

Stop thinking, there is no way things can change in my life. Stop relying on what you can see with your eyes. No, the God of Israel has buried treasures and secret caches of valuables you do not even know about. He has blessings that will thrust you further faster but will also help God’s people even greater.

You might say, “This sounds good, but I am no king Cyrus. I don’t have an empire. I don’t have tons of influence or money.” That is okay; the God of Israel has resources you have not even seen, some of them are buried right under your nose. There are great opportunities right now that have your name on them. If you’ll keep honoring the God of Israel, like a magnet, you’re going to see God bring to you buried treasures and secret caches of valuables.

Bracha

May the God of Israel turn your heart to His purposes today. May you have a heart to serve the God of Israel and glorify His Name. May the God of Israel send you the blessings that are hidden in darkness and may you see what was once hidden.
