Proclaiming Yeshua is the Messiah!

Passover 2012 (Community Seder 4/7)

Three spring festivals overlap and occur during the Hebrew calendar dates of Nisan 15-22 (April 6-14):  Pesach (Passover), Bikkurim (First Fruits Day), and Chag ha-Matzot (a week of unleavened bread).

Even as we remove the leaven from our homes, we ask Adonai to help us remove any leaven from our hearts.   Why are they called the Feasts of Adonai?    Because He is the Host!
Like any elegant feast, particularly one hosted by a king, great attention and detail will go into who will sit where.  When all is prepared, your "spiritual" name card will be sitting right on top of your plate in exactly the place where He wants you to sit!   These are seats of honor, divine appointments, next to the King for His family and for those who want to become part of the Kingdom.  In fact, the King has instructed "Go out into the byways and highways, inviting whoever will come to enjoy the feast!"  We look forward to seeing you at His Passover Seder this year.

“For our Passover lamb, the Messiah, has been sacrificed for us. Therefore, let us celebrate the Seder…with the matzah of sincerity and truth.”  1 Cor. 5:7-8

HOW GROUPS SHOULD PURCHASE TICKETS SO THEY CAN SIT AT THE SAME TABLE:
(Please note this year:  11 seats per table)

If you want to sit with friends who are all paying separately for their tickets, or if you are purchasing several seats for a large group and want to sit together, payment for the group must be received in one envelope at the same time. The easiest way to do this is to designate one in your group to collect the money, request the tickets, and then distribute the tickets before the seder. Please remember there is no "will-call" table available at the seder doors that night. Your guests will be asked to wait in the foyer if they have no ticket to enter.

REMEMBER KEEP YOUR TICKET IN A SAFE PLACE - Your ticket has your table assignment AND it is required for you to gain entry into the seder.  Because each seat is assigned and paid for individually, switching tables on the night of seder is not possible. Plate or seat sharing is not available.  Please report any lost or stolen tickets to passover@cbmhouston.org .

CHILDREN - Children are welcome to attend the Seder. Please remember this is a 3- to 4-hour event with dinner. Each child must have a special "CHILD TICKET" to present to the servers to receive the child's plate. Booster seats are available upon request and there is no childcare.

UPGRADING OR DOWNGRADING TICKETS - You can upgrade a child ticket to an adult ticket by contacting us and paying the difference.  If you need to downgrade an adult ticket to a child ticket, please note that the difference is non-refundable.  These changes must be resolved before the event to ensure that your guests receive the correct menu.
